McPherson, Kan. – Central Christian College of Kansas is pleased to announce that the current men's soccer head coach,
Cody Bartlow, has been named head coach of the women's soccer program as well. Supporting him in this expanded role,
Rachel Dalton has been appointed associate head coach for the women's team.
"I'm excited to provide direction and bring our culture into the women's team here at Central. We have a fantastic group of women who have built a great foundation, and Rachel and I are looking forward to taking the program to new heights!" said Coach Bartlow.
Coach Bartlow brings over two decades of experience to the position, having coached at the high school, collegiate, and club levels, as well as serving in athletic administration. His coaching résumé includes time at both NAIA and NCAA Division II institutions, as well as high school programs in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and club teams in North Texas and Omaha.
Before joining Central Christian, Bartlow served as head women's soccer coach at Midland University (2021–2023), where he led the Warriors to a 29-18-7 (.602) overall record, including a 20-9-3 (.672) mark in conference play. He also contributed to Midland's men's soccer program during the 2021–2022 season and most recently served as an assistant coach with Sporting Nebraska FC. Before that, he was the assistant women's coach at Southwestern Christian University, a fellow member of the Sooner Athletic Conference (2020–2021).
Throughout his coaching career, Bartlow has earned notable accolades, including five district championships, two state semifinal appearances, and a TAPPS State Championship title in 2018. He is also a two-time recipient of the District Coach of the Year award (2018–2020).
Bartlow holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Master of Education in Kinesiology, and a Master of Arts in Sport Management—all from Dallas Baptist University. He also holds a graduate certificate in management. His professional credentials include a United States Soccer Federation C License and PFSA Level 1 certifications in both Performance Analysis and Opposition Analysis.
The Tigers will open their 2025 season at home on Friday, August 23, against Sterling College. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m., and the match will be streamed live on the SAC Sports Network.
