Bethany, OK – The Central Christian College men's and women's golf teams traveled down to Oklahoma City for this year's NCCAA Central Region Tournament hosted once again by Southwestern Christian University. After the two days were done, the men finished tied for 3rd, while the women finished alone in 3rd place.
The men played 36 holes on Monday, followed by another 18 on Tuesday. The Tiger men finished the first round Monday morning with a 322, and then followed that up with a 328 for round two in the afternoon. Closing out the tournament on Tuesday, the Tigers shot a 322 for round three, ending with a three-round total of 972. Collin Duckworth led the Tigers, shooting 237 over the three rounds (75, 82, 80), good enough for a 11th place tie. The rest of the Tigers' scores and finishes are listed below:

The Lady Tigers played two rounds, one each day. On Monday they shot 382, and then closed out the tournament with a 365 on Tuesday, for a total of 747. They were led by Kari Kirl, who shot a 179 for the tournament (94, 85), which put her firmly in 7th place. The rest of the Lady Tigers' scores and finishes are listed below:

The Tiger golfers will be back in action next week, as the women will participate in the Friends University Women's Invitational in Derby, Kansas, while the men head to Ardmore, Oklahoma for the Dornick Hills Invitational.
