SALINA, Kansas – Central Christian Women's Golf team competed in the Salina Country Club Shootout hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University. The women would play a 36-hole tournament with 18 holes on Monday followed by 18 holes on Tuesday.
Round 1
The Lady Tigers faced some early challenges as
Mikyla Albert would have to withdraw after the first hole due to some knee discomfort. The Ladies however, continued on to play as only 4 are needed to count towards the team.
Kamryn Wood lead the Lady Tigers day one firing a 89.
Greenlee Lindsey fired a 93 followed by
Alyssa Ramirez with a 94.
Grace Little rounded out the Tigers with a 95 to post a round 1 371 for the Tigers.
Round 2
Kamryn Wood struggled a bit round 2 as she fired a 93 which put her in 18
th place.
Grace Little would have the low Lady Tiger round with a 7 shot improvement firing a 88 finishing in T-19 place.
Greenlee Lindsey knocked a few shots off with a 2
nd round 91 and T-21 finish. To round out the Tigers would be
Alyssa Ramirez with a 93 and 24
th place finish.
Overall the Tigers finish in 5
th place 2 strokes out of 4
th and 17 strokes away from a Top 3.

Tigers will travel to Sand Creek Station in Newton, KS and play in the Tabor College tournament on October 11
th and 12
th.
