Lady Tigers compete in the Tabor College Fall Invite at Sand Creek Station

10/12/2021 5:43:00 PM

NEWTON, Kansas – Coach Kyle Moody took the women's golf team to Sand Creek Station to compete in the Tabor College Tournament, which was set as a tune-up for the women before they head out to Florida for the NCCAA National Tournament. The field was set with 7 teams and 36 players.

The Tigers originally were still going to compete as a team bringing 4 of their 5 normal lineup. However, the tournament wouldn't start out great for the Tigers as Grace Little had to withdraw early due to sickness, so the Tigers would compete as individuals for the tournament.

Kamryn Wood led the ladies with a great opening round 80 followed by a solid 83 round and she earned herself a T-4 finish, which is her best of the year. Alyssa Ramirez opened round 1 with a respectable 93 and knocked 6 strokes off her round 2 score for an 87 earning herself a top 10 finish. Greenlee Lindsey would round out the ladies with a round 1 score of 94, followed by a 107, good enough for 21st place.
