Bethany, Okla. - The Tiger Women's Soccer team took on the Southwestern Christian University Eagles yesterday in the final away contest of the season.
Neither team netted a goal in the first half, The Tigers took had 1 shot on goal with the Eagles generating 4 but both goalkeepers held their own in the first 45.
The Eagles struck first very early in the 2nd half as a goal in the 46th minute gave them a 1-0 lead. The Tigers struggled offensively and were unfortunately not able to generate another shot attempt in the match. The Eagles would net another goal late in the 89th minute to seal it as the Tigers would lose the match by a score of 2-0.
The Tigers are now 3-12-2 (1-7) on the season and will play Oklahoma City University on Friday afternoon at home for Senior day in the final contest of the season. The match will begin at 1pm and will be streamed on the SAC Sports Network and Urban Edge Network.
