Palm Coast, Fla. - Joellen Vogt of the Central Christian College Women's Golf Team competed in the NCCAA Golf National Championship this week. She qualified for the tournament by being the Central Region indivrepresentative after her fourth place finish at the NCCAA Central Region Championship.

Sophomore Joellen Vogt, representing Central Christian College of Kansas, competed this week as an individual entrant at the NCCAA Women's Golf National Championship, posting rounds of 94, 89 and 87 for a three-day total of 270.

The tournament was held at the formidable Conservatory Course at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida.

Vogt's steady improvement through the rounds underscored both her talent and her resolve. After opening with a 94, she bounced back with an 89 in round two, and closed with her best score of the week, an 87, proving her ability to adjust and persevere.

"Joellen showed tremendous poise throughout the week," said Head Coach Kyle Moody. "She faced a challenging course and a strong field, but she kept improving every day. That steady progress and mental toughness are what define her as both a competitor and a teammate."

Joellen and the rest of the Tiger golfers will now turn their attention to the offseason and prepare for their spring season next semester.
