McPherson, Kan. - The Central Christian Women's Soccer team was back in action at home on Saturday afternoon taking on the Mid-America Christian University Evangels.
The Evangels possessed the ball well early on and generated most of the opportunities. They would net the only two goals of the half 49 seconds apart in the 14th and 15th minutes as the Tigers went into the break down 2-0 looking to make some adjustments.
The Tigers unfortunately couldn't get much going in the 2nd half either as they were unable to generate a shot. The Evangels added two more goals in the 55th and 60th minutes to add to their lead and that would be the last of the scoring in this one as the Tigers lost the home match by a score of 4-0
The Tigers are now 3-10-2 (1-5) on the season and will look to bounce back in another home contest tomorrow evening against University of Science and Arts Oklahoma. The match will kickoff at 5pm and be streamed on the SAC Sports Network and Urban Edge Network.
