Siloam Springs, Ark. The Tigers were back in action yesterday afternoon as they traveled to Arkansas for a tough contest against the nationally ranked #6 John Brown University Golden Eagles.
The Golden Eagles quickly found their groove as they netted two goals in the first 10 minutes, and then 2 more later in the 1st half to take a commanding 4-0 lead going into the break. The Tigers were struggling to control the ball and would look to try to make some changes at the break.
The Tigers did allow less shots in the 2nd half, but the Golden Eagles were still able to notch 2 more goals in the 48th and 88th minutes. The Tigers were unable to generate a shot attempt in the game and would drop a tough one to a very good John Brown team by a score of 6-0.
The Tigers now sit at 2-6-2 (0-2-0) on the season and will look to bounce back at home this weekend against Texas Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon. The game will kickoff at 1:00pm and will be streamed on the SAC Sports Network and Urban Edge Network.
