Waxahachie, Texas – The Central Christian College women's basketball team ended the weekend with a game against the SAGU Lions, loss 66-42.

The Tigers got off to a solid start. Briasia Garza established the lead for the Tigers early on in the game, and the Tigers ran with it. Denia Miler scored a three pointer at the 07:39 mark, increasing the lead to five points. The Lions took back the lead at the 02:35 mark with a three pointer and kept it the rest of the game. By the 09:37 mark of the second quarter, the Tigers were behind eleven points, and by end of the second quarter the Tiger's were behind fourteen points.

After the break, the Tigers began to turn up the heat on offense. Briasia Garza comes in hot with a layup right out of the gate. Kylee Jones scores a jumper at the 07:14 mark of the third quarter, assisted by Olivia Bell

During the fourth quarter the Tigers and the Lions engage in a rebound battle where nobody scores for a little over three minutes, ending at the 1:50 mark with another well-placed layup from Briasia Garza.
