McPherson, Kan. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team finished off their Thursday with a game against the SWCU Eagles, loss 73-41.
The Tigers and the Eagles locked on in a rebound battle to begin with, neither team scoring for nearly three and a half minutes of the first quarter, sitting tied 2-2. At the 4:26 mark the Eagles turn up their offense and gain their lead until the end of the first quarter. Kylee Jones shoots a killer three point shot at the 5:54 mark of the second quarter, but still the Eagles press on.
Once halftime is complete, the Tigers fire up the offense, scoring thirty seconds into the third quarter with another amazing three pointer from Hallee Winsea. The Tigers pick up the pace with the points by the end of the fourth quarter, finishing strong with a valiant effort against the Eagles.
