McPherson, Kan. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team ended the weekend with a loss against the MACU Evangels, loss 98-39.
The Evangels got a strong start in gaining possession of the ball and the main points. The Tigers tried to turn up the defense, with no one scoring any points with two and a half minutes of the first quarter, but the Evangels still prevailed. The Evangels kept gaining more and more traction, ending the first half with a 29 point lead.
After the break, the Evangels turn up the heat even more, and the Tigers put up a valiant effort. Olivia Bell score a three pointer at the 7:52 mark of the fourth quarter. Hallee Winsea also scores the last Tiger three pointer, assisted by Kylee Jones, at the 1:53 mark. Good effort Tigers!
