Coach Quote
Coach Rick Hughes had this to say about the Tigers performance, "It was an enjoyable performance in a very different atmosphere last night. That is probably one of the most energized gyms we have played in this season and not in front of what you would call a "friendly" crowd. Not saying they were mean, just that they were all cheering for the other team. Our Women did a great job of playing volleyball at Langston. We seemed to be very even-keeled and we executed at a high level. It was interesting to talk with the players after the match, some felt they could have done more or played a better match and they found out they were contributing in other areas outside of their focus. This tells me that we are maturing as a team and starting to understand that to compete at this level we have to be well-rounded players. We have to be a team that works hard in all aspects of the game each day. I am proud of the team and their efforts and glad that we were able to ring the bell last night!"
