Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Tigers Go On the Road and Defeat Ecclesia

Springdale, Ark. – The Central Christian College men's soccer team remained undefeated on the season, after a 10-2 win on the road against Ecclesia College on Friday night.

The Tigers scored five goals in each frame, with eight different players getting in on the action. The Tiger defense had a clean sheet going until the 60th minute, when the Royals finally broke through with their first goal of the game. Below are a list of the Tiger goal scorers with assists.

First Half:

Timothy Foster (So. Palm Coast, Fla.), made his varsity debut for the Tigers in goal against the Royals. He picked up his first win of his Tiger career and tallied 1 save.

Coach Hoxie summed up the win saying, "Good game from the guys all around today. They worked hard and handled the circumstances of the day really well. Was happy about our play, moved the ball well, and all of our goals had assists in them, which was nice. Pleased to get many guys playing time, as they've been working hard earning minutes this afternoon."

With the win, the Tigers are now 4-0-2 on the year. They have one more non-conference game, Friday at 8:00 pm against Manhattan Christian College at home, before opening up Sooner Athletic Conference play next Tuesday at home against Mid-America Christian University.
