Oklahoma City, Okla. – The Central Christian College softball team went on the road this past weekend for a double header on Saturday against 8th ranked Oklahoma City University. The Tigers and Stars were originally scheduled for a four game series on Friday and Saturday, but Friday's games were postponed due to weather, to be made up at a later date.

Game 1: L, 14-0

It was a tough day for the Tiger against the nationally ranked Stars. In game one, the Stars came out and blitzed the Tigers, not really giving them a chance to catch their breath. The Stars scored five runs in the first, five more in the second, and four in the third to jump out to a 14-0 lead. The game would be called via the run rule in the 5th inning.

Hitting: The Tigers recorded zero runs, and were no-hit for the first time this season.

Pitching: Madalyn Griffin and Haleigh Arterberry each saw action in the circle for the Tigers in game one. Griffin got the start and was collared with the loss. The Tiger defense committed 5 errors in the game, leading to 5 of the 14 runs for the Stars.
