Goodwell, Okla. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team wrapped up their latest road trip on Saturday with a hard fought loss to the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies.
Three of the four quarters were tightly contested, but the Tigers had a rough 10 minutes out of the halftime intermission that was ultimately their undoing. They trailed the Aggies by just one point, 17-6, after the first quarter, but bounced back in the second to win the quarter 14-11 and take a two point lead into halftime, 30-28.
After the intermission, the Tigers struggled on both ends of the floor. The Aggies outscored the Tigers 22-12 to get back on top in the third quarter, then rode that to a 59-47 win.
By the Numbers
For the game, the Tiger offense went 16-55 (29%) from the floor.
They struggled mightily from deep where they were just 3 of 20 (15%).
They went 12-17 (71%) from the free throw line.
The Aggies won the battle of the boards 40 to 36, and also the turnover battle 14 to 20.

The Tigers will go back out on the road this week for a pair of SAC games, beginning with a 6:00 pm match-up at Texas Wesleyan on Thursday and then picking up a game with USAO on the drive back on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
