Fort Worth, Texas. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team was back on the road Thursday night, taking on the Texas Wesleyan University Rams, down in Fort Worth, Texas.
It was tough sledding for the Tigers, taking on the Sooner Athletic Conference's top team. The Rams entered the game having dropped two SAC games all season, and were a perfect 9-0 at home against conference opponents.
The Rams jumped out to a quick lead in the opening quarter, out-scoring the Tigers 29-13. They did even more damage in the second, winning the period 34-11, taking a 63-24 lead into the halftime intermission.
In the second half, the Rams slowed down considerably, but the Tigers' offense backed off as well. In the end, the Rams defended their home court with a 100-45 win.

For the game, the Tiger offense went 17-53 (32%) from the floor.
They hit on 6 of 26 (15%) of their shots from beyond the three point arc.
They went 5-9 (56%) from the free throw line.
The Rams won the battle of the boards 57 to 20, and also the turnover battle 8 to 24.
