McPherson, Kan. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team opened up the conference portion of their schedule on Thursday evening, hosting the John Brown University Golden Eagles.
JBU came out on fire, and ran out to a 21-2 lead at the end of the first quarter. By the end of the half, the lead was 30 points, 44-14. The Golden Eagles were 8 of 8 from the free throw line, and also knocked down 8 three pointers in the half.
The second half was no better for the Tigers. They were outscored 20 to 5 in the third quarter and then 19 to 12 in the fourth to make the final score 83 -31.
