McPherson, Kan. – The Central Christian College Women's Volleyball team was back in action with a break in their conference schedule to play against crosstown rival McPherson College. With their confidence high, the Tigers looked to continue their good play and improve on their win streak.
The first set was back and forth with the Bulldogs ultimately taking the first set 25-23. The Tigers looked out of sorts in the second set getting themselves in a 14-5 hole that they would be unable to climb out of. The Tigers would lose the second set 25-11 to go down in the match 2-0. Central put up a fight in the third set rattling off 4 straight points late to tie the set at 22. After trading points to make it 23 all, the Bulldogs scored two straight points to take the third set 25-23 and win the match in 3 sets.
