Oklahoma City, Okla. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team was back in action on Saturday afternoon, on the road against the Mid-America Christian University Evangels.
The Tiger women put up good numbers offensively, but were outmatched by the Evangels, who ran away with the contest 110-56. The Tigers scored in double figures in all four quarters, but were unable to keep pace with the hotter shooting Evangels.
By the Numbers
For the game, the Tiger offense went 18-48 (37%) from the floor.
They had a better day shooting from beyond the three point arc, making 10 of 33 (30%)
They went 10-15 (67%) from the free throw line.
The Evangels were dominant on the boards, out-rebounding the Tigers 53-21.
The Tigers lost the turnover battle 22 to 9.
Three Tigers scored in double figures, led by
Kylee Jones who had a career high 17 points.
