Oklahoma City, Okla. – The Central Christian College men's basketball dropped their latest result, a 82-72 decision on the road Saturday against the Mid-America Christian University Evangels.
The Tigers played even with the Evangels in the first half, trailing the home side by just one point, 37-36 heading into the locker room at halftime. In the second half, the Evangels were able to earn some breathing room, out-scoring the Tigers 45-36 to win by a 10 point margin.
By the Numbers
Offensively, the Tigers made 26 of 57 (46%) shots from the floor, and were 10 of 26 (39%) from deep.
At the free throw line they were 10 of 12 (83%) for the game.
The Tigers lost the turnover battle 11 to 10, and were out-rebounded by the Evangels 36 to 24.

The Tigers have three games this week, two at home and one on the road. They will open this week with a home match-up on Tuesday with Langston University, currently ranked #3 in the latest NAIA top 25 Coaches Poll. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:45 pm.
