Oklahoma City, Okla. – The Central Christian College women's basketball dropped their latest game on the road 92-50 to the Oklahoma City Stars.
For the Tigers, the biggest struggle was on the defensive end of the floor. Defensively, they allowed the stars to shoot over 49% from the floor, and 41% from beyond the three point arc. Offensively, the Tigers scored in double figures in three of the four quarters, the lone exception was the third quarter when they only managed seven total points for the period.
The Stars seemingly scored at will, jumping out to a 27 to 12 lead after the first quarter, then extending their lead heading into the break 47-25. The Stars came out the break and picked up where they left off, outscoring the Tigers 25 to 7. The fourth quarter was the best for the Tigers they scored 18 points in the period, and held the Stars to 20.

The Tigers shot 24% from the floor, making 12 of 15 shots.
They made 7 of 35 (20%) of their attempts from beyond the three point arc.
They had a great night at the free throw line, making 19 of 21 (91%).
The Tigers lost the turnover battle 16 to 8, and were out rebounded 50 to 28.

With the loss, the Tigers fall to 0-9 overall, and 0-5 in the SAC. They have a pair of home games this week, starting with a 6:00 pm match-up on Thursday with the Panhandle State University Aggies. They will finish the homestand against Wayland Baptist University on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
