Chickasha, Okla. – The Central Christian College women's soccer team went on the road to take on the Sooner Athletic Conference's top team the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma Drovers. The Drovers showed why they have just one loss on the season overall, and are a perfect 6-0 in SAC play.

The Tigers surrendered two goals in the first half, and four more in the second frame to fall to the Drovers 6-0. The Tigers had just three total shots in the game, none of them threatening the goal while the home side took 26 shots, and put 16 of them on frame.

Katelyn Beckman was under fire all night in goal for the Tigers. She finished the game with 10 saves.

Coach Macharia commented on the loss saying, "It was another tough day in the office for our team! USAO was as good as advertised and we did well in the first half to keep the score at 0-2. In the second we got tired and they took advantage of that. Even at the heavy defeat, the girls left the field feeling we learned from this game! We get back to the practice field to prepare for another tough game this weekend against a top team in John brown."

With the loss, the Tigers drop to 4-8-1 overall, and 0-5-1 in the SAC. As Coach Macharia alluded to, the Tigers get another tough task this weekend when they play their final home game of the season against the SAC's no. 2 team, the John Brown University Golden Eagles. Kick-off is slated for 3:30 pm.
