McPherson, KS –
Isaiah Rivera has a career high 31 points on 9-12 FG, 3-4 3PT, and 10-11 from the charity stripe. Central Christian however would take the loss 78-67 and drops to 9-5, 3-4 SAC on the year.
Golden Eagles (4-4, 4-4 SAC) are led by Luke Harper 21 points on 8-16 (.500) from the field.
Central Christian drops to 9-5, 3-4 SAC on the year after taking a tough home loss 78-67.
Tigers would face a unique challenge tonight as the Golden Eagles used their depth on the bench to constantly sub during the entire game. This would keep the Golden Eagles from tiring out their players and Tigers wouldn't have the bench to match their style.
Things got scary for the Tigers during the middle of the 2
nd half as
Darrell Bryant had to exit the game due to an injury and Tigers would be forced to play the remainder of the game without him. The Tigers would be able to hang with the Golden Eagles in the 2
nd half, but the 12 point lead from the 1
st would prove too much for the Tigers.
Tigers take the loss at home and will be hoping for a fast recovery for Darrell and will get a shot at redemption on February 8
th as they travel to Siloam Springs to take on John Brown at their place.
Go Tigers!
