McPherson, KS – Asheika Alexander scored a game-high 22 points as the Lady Lions beat the Lady Tigers 91-44.
Langston University (4-3, 3-3 SAC) shot from the floor 47% (31-66), from beyond the arc 50% (7-14) and from the charity stripe 71% (22-31).
Central Christian (2-13, 0-8 SAC) would be led by
Kassidy Forsberg who would score 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-10 FT) and had 9 rebounds. Overall Central would shoot 22.1% (15-68) with 5 triples, and 9-19 from the charity stripe.
The Lady Tigers will continue to search for their first conference win and will get the opportunity this week as the John Brown Golden Eagles come into town on Friday night.
