Ottawa, KS – Central Christian baseball team fell against in their single game against Ottawa Univ., 13-2. The Tigers go 1-5-1 in their 7-game road trip before heading home this weekend.
The Braves would open up with 9 runs through the first 4 innings before scoring 1 in the 5
th. Braves would go on to score again in the 5
th and 7
th with 2 runs to total 13 runs on the day. Tigers would only be able to score 1 more run on the day to complete their total at 2.
The Tigers Pitching Staff would turn to
Joseph Esparza would get the start and loss for the Tigers going 1.2 innings, yielding six runs on three hits and two walks, fanning one batter. The rest of the Tigers pitching staff would 5.1 innings, yielding 7 runs on six hits and seven walks, fanning 3 batters.
