MCPHERSON, KANSAS – Tigers return to McPherson to play in the 4
th annual Mayor's Cup this Tuesday evening. Bulldogs pull off their 4
th consecutive victory over the Tigers 76-43.
MATCH SUMMARY
1
st Quarter
Despite starting the match off with a bench tech and Bulldogs knocking down 1 of 2 free throws, Tigers scored 5 unanswered to build a 5-1 lead with 8:33 remaining. Tigers went on cold spell over the next 4 to 5 minutes, as the Bulldogs took the lead at 14-5. The quarter would end on a Bulldog run of 8-5, putting the Tigers in a 12 point deficit.

nd Quarter
A back and forth affair in this quarter as both teams were evenly matched. Tigers were able to get the game within 9 points thanks to an opening 3 by
Meya Gibson, but McPherson would always respond with a bucket of their own anytime the Tigers scored. With 2:41 left to play
Cheyenne Marshall would draw a foul earning 3 free throws, which she knocked down to get the Tigers within 8, 29-21. Bulldogs however ended on a 7-2 run to take a 13 point lead at 36-23.

rd Quarter
Tigers go scoreless to open up the 3
rd for almost 3:30' minutes before the Tigers stop the Bulldog 8-0 run. Tigers struggled on both ends of the floor as Bulldogs built a 32 point lead at one point in the half, but were able to close out their last two possessions on a 4-0 run. Score 58-30.

th Quarter
Early on in the quarter the teams trade buckets, with Bulldogs getting the first bucket before the Tigers. Midway through the period the score reflected a 35 point Bulldog lead at 70-35. The Tigers over the next 5 minutes went on 8-6 run to finish the game 76-43, Bulldogs.
Tigers shoot 15-58 (25.9%), missed 17-3 pointers and went 10-21 (47.6%) from the free throw line.
Destiny Broussard led the Lady Tigers, scoring 18 points with 4 rebounds. The rest of the Tiger starters combined for 16 points and 18 rebounds.
Cheyenne Marshall had an incredible night defensively with 4 blocks and
Germari Harris dished out 4 of the 10 Tiger assist.
