CENTRAL CHRISTIAN QUOTES

Head Coach Cole Ouren

"This is a tough loss for everyone. It was difficult to step into the locker room afterwards given our expectations prior to the game. We felt very confident coming into the game and had our sights set on  playing next week. Unfortunately, MACU was the first to capitalize and did a good job in protecting their lead and managing the clock."

"Despite a few good chances for MACU in the first half, I felt that we were the better team and unlucky to not have scored. In the second half, we weren't able to find a rhythm until late in the game and this was evident as they found some positive chances."

"In spite of the loss, I felt that we played well and am extremely proud not just of the effort but the passion of the team. It is a privilege to coach such a special group of players and I am thankful that our journey doesn't have to end tonight. I know the girls are excited to have the opportunity to play and one more chance against MACU in the NCCAA Regional Tournament. Hopefully we can come out with a result and punch a ticket to the NCCAA National Tournament."
