MCPHERSON, Kansas – After taking down Science & Arts previously before this weekend the Tigers boosted themselves back into the race for the top 8 to make the SAC conference tournament. Tigers this weekend had an uphill battle taking on Oklahoma Panhandle on Friday, and top of the SAC Wayland Baptist on Saturday.
Lady Tigers opened the weekend going down 25-12, 25-7, and 25-12 as they got swept by OPSU.
Aggies would hold the advantage over the Tigers in kills 39-8, aces 10-1, blocks 6-1, and digs 29-24.
To close out the weekend the Tigers were swept 25-11, 25-9, and 25-8.
Tigers would have a better day hitting, but the Pioneers still held the advantage in kills 50-12, aces 5-1, and digs 40-27.
