McPherson, KS – Central Christian women's basketball team hosted the #2 NAIA team, Wayland Baptist University in this Sooner Athletic Conference game.
The Pioneers would jump out to an early 28-7 lead and would never look back. Tigers wouldn't be able to come up with any answers and Pioneers would end up taking the game easily 106-39.
This loss put the Tigers at 2-11 (0-5 SAC).
All 10 Lady Tigers would take the floor tonight and get to play against the top NAIA team in the nation.
Senior Guard
Cheyenne Marshall would lead the Tigers with 9 points, 6 rebounds, and a block on the night. Senior Center
Kassidy Forsberg would contribute 9 points and 8 rebounds.
Sophomore
Ariana Crook would have a good night adding 7 points and 4 rebounds.
Destiny Broussard would have a good night on the boards with 11 and added 4 points.
The Tigers will direct their attention to the OPSU Aggies that are coming to McPherson, KS on Saturday, January 30
th in hopes to even the season series.
