Coach Ouren had this to say on the match:
"It is always positive to start the season with a win and more so with a shut out! In not having the opportunity to play in any pre-season games, we felt the team was relatively organized on both sides of the ball and did well in being patient in possession. Perhaps more than anything, we were glad to see each player receive playing time, specifically our freshman who were unable to play last spring in high school!
Since the beginning of pre-season we have communicated that we want to play in such a way that is not only fun to play but to watch. We want to thank those that came our braved the weather and we hope provided an entertaining style of play."
Go Tigers!
