Oklahoma City, OK – October 10, 2020
TIGERS SPLIT TRIANGULAR MATCH AND PICK UP FIRST VICTORY OF THE YEAR.
The Central Christian Women's Volleyball team would travel down to Oklahoma to have a triangular match against conference foes Southwestern Christian University & Mid-America Christian University. This would be an opportunity for Coach
Ryan Webb and the Lady Tigers to scout out their conference opponents before official conference matches count.
Match 1 would be against SCU who would play as the home team at the neutral site. Tigers would have their best performance of the year. They would sweep the Eagles (25-20, 25-18, 25-22) Tigers would tally 38 kills, 18 errors, on 121 attempts for a .157 hitting percentage. Eagles would have 25 kills, 18 errors, on 107 attempts for a .065 hitting percentage.
Andrea Padilla and
Zola Moore would lead the Tigers both totaling 12 kills for the match.
Kiarrah Carlisle would have 28 assist to lead the team. Freshman
Jacque Freeman would lead the team in digs with 19 and teammate
Andrea Padilla would be right behind her adding 14 digs.
Match 2 the Tigers would go against the Evangels. The Tigers wouldn't have a full game break and the Evangels would take advantage of the rest in between the games. Tigers would try to rally in the 1
st set, but would fall just short of their comeback bid and Evangels would take care of business and sweep the Tigers. Evangels would outmatch the Tigers in kills 45 – 25, digs 42-37, and assist 44 – 24.
Atlantis Jamerson would have 8 kills and teammate
Zola Moore would be right behind her with 7 kills.
Kiarrah Carlisle would have 18 assist and
Jacque Freeman would add 9 digs to her performance.
