Coach Jeremy Nelson grew up in McPherson and has been involved with the game of tennis for over 20 years. He played his high school tennis at McPherson High School in McPherson, Kansas.  He went on to play collegiate tennis at Bethany College, in Lindsborg, Kansas, a traditional tennis powerhouse.
 
Coach Nelson spent nine years coaching at Elyria Christian School in McPherson building a very competitive program.  Prior to taking over the tennis program at Central in the spring of 2008, he spent a year and a half in Kansas City working on a Masters Degree in Christian Ministry from Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary. While in Kansas City, he was also a teaching pro at Hilltop Racquet Club. 
 
Coach Nelson loves to teach the game of tennis. He has workd numerous summer tennis camps and spends countless hours "on court" each summer giving private and group lessons for the Mac Advantage Tennis Club.
 
Coach Nelson is married to Carol and they have two daughters, Caitlyn and Emalee. His goal is to build a competitive and well-respected tennis program at Central Christian, recruiting young men and women who are interested in obtaining a quality academic education, desire to grow in their faith, and aspire to become excellent tennis players.
