Central Christian College of Kansas

Entering his 3rd year as head coach of the Lady Tigers, Coach Golden seems to be getting more comfortable with coaching in the Sooner conference. Before arriving at Central Christian College he served as the  head varsity girls coach at Evangelical Christian School in Fort Myers, Florida. Coach Golden was at ECS for 2 seasons where he built a 42-11 overall record and an 18-0 mark in district competition. His team collected back to back District Championships in 2015 and 2016.

Prior to his time at ECS, Coach Golden spent 3 seasons at his alma-mater, Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, as an assistant coach for head coach Joe Lamansky. His time working under Lamansky included a 20 win season in 2009-10. That same season also produced an NCCAA Coach of the Year Award for Coach Lamansky and two All-Americans. The team also earned a trip to the National Tournament where they won two games. It was the best season for BBC since Golden was a player there in the early 1980’s.

 Coach Golden is excited to see the growth in the team as they make the gradual changes in the culture. The team continues to show a commitment to developing the foundations of winning in Women's Basketball at Central.
