Central Christian College of Kansas

Tara Kemp is a junior outfielder and infielder from El Dorado, Kansas. Tara came to Central Christian via Flint Hills High School where she was a four year letter winner for Coach Harms, and the Flint Hills High School Mustangs. During her time at Flint Hills, she was South Central Border League Honorable Mention as a junior and First Team her senior year. She finished her high school career with a GPA of 3.99 and is majoring in Business Management with a minor in Accounting.

When not playing softball, Tara has many hobbies including drinking coffee, reading random articles, telling jokes, having meaningful conversations with friends, listening to music, and being involved in PBL. She is the daughter Tiya Oppold and Tim Kemp. Her favorite Bible verse is James 1:2-5, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
