Aaron Annis

Aaron Annis enters his 2nd season as the Head Coach for the Tigers. In his 1st season, the tigers went 14-43 and made the conference tournament for the first time in school history.  Prior to coming to Central Christian, Coach Annis was the head coach at Moundridge High School, in Moundridge, Kansas, where he led the team to the State 2A tournament in 2017.  While at MHS, Coach Annis coached 5 players that earned All-HOA conference honors. Prior to his time at MHS, Coach Annis served for two seasons as the pitching coach at Sterling College.

Coach Annis is a native of Mapleton, Minnesota, and started playing boys fast pitch at the age of 9 when his dad started a fast pitch team. He has been a national champion in 2004-2006. Aaron’s fast pitch team also took 4th place in 2009 at the NAFA World Series that was held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  He currently plays for a team out of Newton.

“I’m excited to lead my team, as we enter our 2nd season in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC). My goal is to teach young women about the game of softball and to grow their faith on and off the field.”

Aaron is married to Ashlee Annis, who is the Head Spirit Director at McPherson College.
