Kyle Moody

Coach Moody is in his 5th year as the head of the Tiger golf program. Moody graduated from University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management. In 2006 he finished his graduate studies earning a Master’s of Science in Pedagogy through the Health Exercise and Sport Science Department at Texas Tech University. He began his teaching and coaching for the club baseball team at Texas Tech University before moving back to USAO. He then moved on for a two year stint as the head assistant baseball coach and Sport Management professor at Cameron University (Lawton, OK), before coming to Central Christian in the fall of 2012. At Central, he taught and coached baseball for 2 years before becoming the head golf coach in 2013.

Since he has taken the reins, the men’s golf program has improved 50 spots in national ranking, while also finishing 6th in their inaugural season in the Sooner Athletic Conference in 2018. The women’s program has grown from one player in 2013 to six for the 2018-2019 season and they too finished 6th in the Sooner Athletic Conference last season.

Coach Moody emphasizes academics and has been privileged to have been able to coach 3 NCCAA Scholar-Athletes and a women’s golf program that was named as an NCCAA Scholar Team.

Coach Moody’s other passions include his relationship with Christ, his family, and fishing. In 2007, Coach Moody married his college sweetheart Summer Bradshaw, and together they have been blessed with three children Amelia (2008), Jedidiah (2011), and Ezekiel (2013).
