Tyler Brown

The 2020-2021 season will be Coach Brown’s first season as a member of the Tigers baseball coaching staff.

Brown’s main focus will be on helping to develop the offense while helping strengthen the defense as well.

As a player, Brown was named as the Sooner Athletic Conference Gold Glove winner for third base in 2019. In that year, Brown led the team in doubles (19) while moving himself into second place all time in single season total for the Tigers. In two years at Central (with a COVID shortened senior season), Brown put up an impressive lifetime stat line of: .308avg, 22 doubles, 6 homeruns, and 32 RBI.

Prior to playing at Central, Brown was a two year starter for Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens. While playing for the Red Ravens, Brown posted a career stat line of: .278avg, 25 doubles, 4 homeruns, and 49 RBI.

Brown graduated from Central Christian College of Kansas with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 2020.

Brown is a native of Owasso, Okla. Brown won two state championships with the Owasso Rams.
