McPherson, Kan. - Today, the AVCA announced that over 1,400 programs around the country received AVCA's Team Academic Award. To earn this award a program must maintain a year-long grade point average of at least a 3.30 on a 4.0 scale.

Central Christian College of Kansas Women's Volleyball earned the award by maintaining a 3.35 team GPA. This is the second year in a row that the Tigers have earned the award and it is a testament to their hard work beyond the court.
