Manhattan, Kan. – The Central Christian College of Kansas Women's Volleyball team was back in action Saturday at the Thunder Invitational. This time taking on Cottey College and Manhattan Christian College.
The Tigers were relentless from the start of the match as they swept Cottey in straight sets 25-19, 25-17, and 25-23.
The Tigers tallied 38 kills and just 19 errors on 104 swings for an overall hitting percentage of .183 on the match.
The Tigers would regroup and turn their attention to Manhattan Christian College as the Thunder came into the match having only dropped one set in their previous three games so far this year. With compounding errors and a dominant attack from the Thunder, the Tigers fell to the Thunder in three straight sets, 13-25, 16-25, and 18-25.
The Tigers totaled 29 kills and 24 errors on 143 attempts which netted a positive hitting percentage of .035 on the match.
