Mansfield, Texas – The Central Christian Men's Golf team opened their spring season with a runner up finish at the 4-Him Classic hosted by Dallas Christian College. The Tigers would play 36 holes on day one and finish the tournament with 18 holes on Tuesday.

Tyler Hoxie set the pace for the Tigers in the first round with a solid 1-under 69. As a team, the Tigers shot 307 and found themselves in third place heading into round two. The Tigers improved on round two as they shot 298 led by junior Jerry Montano with an even par round of 70. This would vault them into second place after 36 holes.
The Tigers would end up taking second place in the tournament after shooting a 306 in round three for a total of 911 for the two days. The top performer for the Tigers was Tyler Hoxie with rounds of 69, 73, and 77 that would see him finish in 3^rd place individually.

Next up for the Tigers, they will travel to Nixa, Mo. for the Evangel Invitational held at Fremont Country Club on March 11^th and 12^th.
