McPherson, Kan. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team ended the weekend with a game against the Wayland Baptist University Flying Queens, loss 92-40.
The Queens broke for the lead and the Tiger's struggled to score against them. By the end of the first quarter, the Pioneers had a 22-point lead over the Tigers. During the second quarter the Tigers turned up the heat on the offense and scored. Denia Miler scored a good two point shot, assisted by Amanda Dotter at the 0:41 mark.
After halftime, the Tigers gained a new energy. Amanda Dotter scores a two pointer right out of the gate at the 9:39 mark. The Queens continued to press the Tigers. Briasia Garza made the Tigers break 20 with her amazing three pointer at the 3:57 mark.
During the fourth quarter the Tigers and the Queens continue to engage in battle. The Queens bring heat with their good offense and defense, but the Tiger's push through. Olivia Bell assists Briasia Garza with her last three pointer of the night, bringing the Tigers up to 40 points at the 1:07 mark. Good effort Tigers!

Rebounds were a big difference maker today, the Queens grabbed 53 to the Tigers 35. This allowed them to create second chance opportunities on the offensive side.
