McPherson, Kan. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team started the week with a battle against the Langston University Lions, loss 81-60.
The Lions got off to a strong start, stealing the ball and gaining the lead. The Tigers came in close behind,
Amanda Dotter shooting a two pointer at the 3:39 mark, assisted by
Olivia Bell. The Lions continued to turn up the heat on the offense, but the Tigers retaliate with good defense. In the second quarter there are two and a half minutes where no scoring is made because of how tight the game is. By the end of the second quarter, the Lions are only five points ahead.
Once halftime is finished, the fight continues to be tight locked.
Kylee Jones shoots a good shot in the paint, assisted by
Olivia Bell at the 7:57 mark of the third quarter. The Lions turn up their offense during the final quarter of the game, ending the game with a 21-point lead. Good effort Tigers!
