McPherson, Kan - The Tigers playing on senior night, they had an opportunity to wrap up the final spot in the SAC Post Season tournament with a win over the Eagles. But the ball did not bounce the Tigers way as they lost to the Southwestern Christian Eagles, 2-0. The Tigers will get another chance at post season play in their season finale on Tuesday.
The Tigers were able to attack goal 1
st with shots from Fillippo Coscarella and
Joel Romero in the 8
th and 9
th minutes, but came up scoreless. It was until the 41
st minute before anyone scored as the Eagles were able to strike 1
st with a goal by Christian Alvaro Sanchez. A
Joel Romero headshot hit the goal crossbar near the end of the half as the Tigers just missed the equalizer.

John Stottlemire kept the score 1-0 through 20 minutes of the 2
nd half. At the 75:37 point of the 2
nd half, the Eagles were able to extend their lead to 2-0, but the Tigers would not go away on senior night. A header by
Johnny Rodriguez at goal was saved in just under one minute from the Eagles last goal. Two near misses by
Joan Muncharaz at goal were saved by Eagles goalie, Enzo Camps.
Nicholas Arenare was able to get a shot at goal near the end of the game, but once again, saved by the Eagles Camps, as the final score was 2-0 for the Eagles, as the Eagles were able to clinch the 7
th position in the SAC Post Season Tournament, with one position left to be determined on Tuesday.
The Tigers (5-9-2) will close the Season at Nelson University (5-5-7, 0-5-3) in a winner or tie take all game for the 8 seed in the SAC Post-Season Tournament. Kickoff is set for 7pm in Waxahachie, TX. Game can be seen on the SAC Sports Network.
