Fort Worth, Texas - It was almost a reversal of how matches have gone for the Central Christian Tigers, where they have dominated most 2^nd halves they've played, with slow starts. But tonight the Tigers came out quickly, scored early, but struggled in the 2^nd half giving up 4 unanswered goals to lose to Texas Wesleyan 4-1 at Martin Field.

The Tigers scored 1^st with a goal from Marco Cherchi at 8:58 of the 1^st half. Both teams exchanged shots, but the Rams were able to sneak the equalizer past TJ Foster at 38:52, bringing the match to a 1-1 tie at the end of the 1^st half.

The Tigers had no answer for the Rams Mathis Guffroy, who was the story of the 2^nd half where he scored a hat trick, scoring 3 goals between the 48^th and 65^th minutes. Guffroy also assisted on the other Rams goal in the 1^st half.

The Tigers (5-5-2, 1-2-1) play next at home against the John Brown University Golden Eagles (6-1-4, 3-1). Game day is next Tuesday, October 15th, with a kickoff set for 5:30pm. Game can be seen on the SAC Sports Network.
