Tough First Half Slows Tigers against JBU

Siloam Springs, Ark. – The Central Christian College women's basketball team took a hit this week from John Brown University, losing 43-78.
John Brown University got off to a strong lead, ending the first quarter with a 20 point lead. While the Tigers managed to gain 7 points in the second half, John Brown had built up their lead to 33 points at halftime.
After the break, the Tigers put up a good fight, ending the second half with 43 points John Brown kept up their lead the whole game, ending the game with a 35 point lead.

The Tigers are back in McPherson to take on the Oklahoma City University Stars this Saturday, January 27th and tip-off is scheduled for 2:00PM. The Tigers then go on the road to University of North Texas-Dallas and SAGU later this week. All games will be streamed live on the SAC Sports Network.
