McPherson, Kan. – The Central Christian College softball team returned to Sooner Athletic Conference play this weekend, hosting the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Aggies in a pair of double headers on Friday and Saturday. The Tigers split Friday's double header with the Aggies, falling in game one 9-0, but bouncing back to take game two 5-0.

On Saturday, the Tigers struggled out of the gate in game three, falling to the Aggies in five innings, 14-0. In the series finale, the Tigers and Aggies were tied 6-6 going into the sixth inning after Halee Wallin hit a solo homerun to tie the game. Unfortunately, the Aggies came out in the sixth and put up four runs, to go up 10-6.  The Tigers added a run in their half of the 6th but it wasn't enough as the Aggies were able to put up two more in the seventh and secured the sweep with a 12-7 win.

Next Up: The Tigers will take a break from SAC action on Tuesday, when they travel up to Lawrence, Kansas for a double header with Haskell Indian Nations University. The Tigers and Indians met on the diamond two weeks ago with the CCCK ladies winning both games of the double header.
