Ottawa, Kan. – Over the weekend, the Central Christian college men's volleyball team played three matches on the road against Ottawa University, Morningside University and Culver-Stockton University.

The Tigers were in Ottawa on Friday night for a match against the Braves. It was a tough night for the Tigers as they were swept by the Braves in straight sets, 25-12, 25-11, 25-7.

By the Numbers

Offensively, the Tigers hit -.089 with 13 kills on 56 swings with 18 errors.

They assisted on all 13 of their kills.

Defensively, they were credited with 13 digs and 3 blocks.

On Saturday, the Tigers travelled north to Sioux City, Iowa to play two matches. The first was with the host school, the Morningside University Mustangs. The Mustangs are currently sitting in third place in the GPAC conference standings behind Dordt University and the University of Jamestown.

The Mustangs had too much fire power for the Tigers, winning the match in straight sets, 25-13, 25-16, 25-9.

Offensively the Tigers hit -.020 with 15 kills on 51 swings with 16 errors.

They assisted on all 15 of their kills.

Defensively, they were credited with 11 digs and 3 blocks.

The final match of the weekend against Culver-Stockton, was by far the best for the Tigers. The result was the same, a straight set loss, but the Tigers were much more competitive, and
probably even more talented at many positions than the Wildcats. In the end, the Wildcats prevailed 25-17, 25-18, 25-13.

They assisted on 18 of their 21 kills.

Defensively, they were credited with 21 digs and 5 blocks.
