Coaches Quote
"It was nice to see our guys earn a win today. It's been a tough return from break for our team. But, our guys have been battling daily and trying to improve, so I am very happy to see them rewarded as a group. It was a great defensive effort, we did a great job trying to make it tough for the top scorer in the NAIA, he is a great player and we were able to do some things to make it tougher for him to get clean looks, that effort was led by Malachi.
I thought Malachi did a great job on both sides of the ball today, leading our offense with his composure and defensively setting the tone. A lot of guys had winning moments throughout the game, Jamir, Mekhi, and Adrian did a great job in the trenches and on the boards. Mario and Reece hit some big shots each half. I thought Ryan also had one his more complete games of the season. Chris, Ahmad, Jakir and Noah all did well handling their pressure at moments throughout the game. Offensively, it was one of our better games in the last few weeks. We have struggled scoring consistently and today, we did a solid job sharing the ball and getting quality possessions." – Coach
