McPherson, Kan. – The Central Christian College men's volleyball team played their home opener on Friday night, hosting the Morningside University Mustangs at Jerry Alexander Arena.
The Tigers were without head coach Rick Hughes, who was out with an illness.
The Tigers took the floor with student assistants McKenzee Cook, and Jacque Freeman at the helm. The two did their best to steer the ship, but the Mustangs had too much firepower, and the Tigers fell in straight sets, 25-11, 25-8, 25-11.

The Tigers were supposed to be back in action tomorrow against Ottawa University, but that match has been postponed to March 8
th. Instead, the Tigers will have to wait until next weekend when they travel back to Jamestown, North Dakota for a tournament hosted by the University of Jamestown.
