Wichita, Kan. – The Central Christian College baseball team was back on the diamond for a mid-week nine, against the Friends University Falcons.
It was another struggle for the Tigers at the dish, and on the mound. Offensively, the Tigers were able to plate two runs on four hits, while the pitching staff gave up 14 runs to the Falcons in 14 hits.
Hitting: All four of the Tiger hits were singles, recorded by three different hitters.
Pitching: Ten different pitchers saw action against the Falcons.
Daniel Scott got the start and pitched the first inning.
Dominic Terrones threw the second inning when the Falcons took the lead, giving
him the loss. Collectively, the Tiger pitchers allowed 14 runs, 13 of them earned, on 14 hits. They struckout six and walked six.

Next Up: The Tigers are scheduled to be at home this upcoming weekend in a four game series with Dakota State University. Weather permitting the Tigers and Trojans will play a double header each day starting at 12:00 pm.
